River Schoolhouse is a living-history schoolyard in Sherwood where kids write on slates and play recess games that do not involve screens. Nancy Pritchard teaches in costume without the fake pioneer voice. Field trips book the spring. Weekends are drop-in hours with a shorter lesson. The outhouse is decorative. The well pump is real.
