Pulaski Fairgrounds is the demo stand-in for a working county fairgrounds: a midway spine, livestock barns, a grandstand, and a gate that still prefers cash. Frank Gillespie (depot museum board, somehow) manages year-round rentals and the big autumn fair. It smells like fried dough and hay in the correct months. Parking attendants have seen everything.
