Porchlight Cafe is a converted bungalow with a wraparound porch, ceiling fans, and a water bowl that is never empty. June Ellis bakes blueberry muffins that sell out by 9 and keeps a simple drip that regulars prefer to the espresso drinks. Strollers and dogs are expected. It is the anti-downtown cafe: slower, sunnier, and closed once the muffins are gone.
