Nature Notebook Center hands every child a journal and dares them to draw one leaf accurately. Dr. Leah Simmons runs a kids lab with microscopes that actually work and a short accessible trail. It is educational without being a classroom. Parents leave with muddy shoes and a pressed flower in a book.
