Cedar Ridge winds 18 holes through actual cedar trunks and a couple of gentle slopes that punish a wild putt. Paula Nguyen keeps scorecards old-school and a picnic lawn for birthday cupcakes. It is shadier than most metro courses and popular after Saturday sports. The clubhouse sells only bottled drinks and freeze pops.
