Bayou Spoon Creole occupies a long downtown dining room with jazz lighting and a gumbo pot that never quite empties. Tasha Boudreaux’s po-boys are dressed the Louisiana way, and the hurricane glass is more garnish than dare. Weekend evenings get a trio in the corner. It is a date-night room that still lets you eat with your hands.
