Arkansas Paddle Co. launches from a riverfront shed just west of the pedestrian bridge. Lena Hart rents sit-on-top kayaks and paddleboards, plus guided sunset paddles when the current is friendly. It is sweaty, sunscreen-scented, and the closest thing downtown has to a boat club. Life jackets are not optional, even if you insist.
